Working with families, teens, and adults for over 25 years has shown me that when people are truly listened to, respected, and supported, we are able to embrace our strengths and improve our emotional well being. My approach to counseling is a collaborative model in which you determine your goals for therapy. I provide an open minded and relaxed environment where you can explore and learn from life’s challenges. I’ve always enjoyed working with people from diverse backgrounds, honoring and learning from each person’s experiences as I help you to discover new skills and support your growth.
My experience includes working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+
issues, domestic violence, relationship difficulties, ADHD, and autism. I use a combination of
therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to your unique needs. These approaches include
cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, solution focused therapy and
wilderness therapy. My work is dedicated to helping people gain resiliency from life’s difficulties
in order to move forward into a more fulfilling future.
