Frances Dalomba LICSW

I am a bilingual ( Spanish) licensed clinical social worker who has worked with children, youth, and families for over 20 years.  I earned a BSW and MSW from Rhode Island College.  I’ve had the opportunity to work in psychiatric, educational, and community settings.  My experience has been working with adolescents and their families, who suffer from anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief, and loss.

My therapeutic approach can incorporate a strength-based model where we look at the positive vs focusing on the negative to meet your goals.  A mindfulness approach (DBT-dialectical behavior therapy), where you learn skills to regulate emotions, behaviors and look at interpersonal relationships.  A cognitive behavioral therapy model (CBT) where you learn to cope and manage life’s challenges in a more effective way that allows you to function.  I am a strong believer in the old African proverb “it takes a village.”
