ADHD / BIPOLAR GROUP

Positively, You

Do you wear a shoe on one foot that makes you feel like you can accomplish everything you set your mind on, and on the other foot, do you wear a shoe that makes you feel like you’re too tired, and maybe even unworthy of not accomplishing your goals?

Do you “Should” yourself?   (i.e. “I should be doing this, I should be doing that…”); do you do this to yourself to the point you’re not giving yourself any opportunity to relax, and allow yourself to be still?

Do you feel like you need to constantly prove a point because at times you feel like everyone in your immediate environment is waiting for you to fail?

Do you find your brain being clouded by dysphoria (discontentment)?

Do you feel like you have an overall distorted view of yourself?

If you have identified with any of these, this group could be for you:

Using CBT, DBT, Positive and Narrative psychology worksheets, the purpose of this group is to challenge and defeat the often-seen negative self-regarded thoughts and manifested behaviors rooted in similarly reflected diagnosis of ADHD, Bipolar I and Bipolar II.

This group is module based; each module will cover understanding the causes, patterns, and behaviors associated with each diagnosis; and identifying and applying effective treatment methods.

The group will be offered on Wednesday evenings between 7-9pm.

The group will be open to adults 18+.

Group type is open and able to accommodate 8-15 participants.  Most insurances accepted
